Mouse Guard is an awesome comic by the equally awesome David Petersen about a colony of mice living in a medieval era. In his own words:

"The mice struggle to live safely and prosper among all of the world’s harsh conditions and predators. Thus the Mouse Guard was formed."

We, for our BACVA 3rd year Major Project, are making an animation set in this world. A young guard mouse out on patrol is ambushed by an owl and must fight for her life.
